Telephony Online has a great article on UTOPIA that gives some insight as to what exactly they’re doing over there. It also includes some quotes from Fibernet and FuzeCore, the new providers on the network. DSLReports also picked up on the article and offered some additional commentary worth checking out.

I checked out the DSL Reports forum and true to form, it only took two posts before some guy from California was branding us all in Utah as not just Taliban, but really stupid Taliban. DSL Reports tends to deteriorate pretty quickly into meaningless diatribes between posts. There aren’t too many posts yet on this thread there, but mark my word, before long they’ll be into speculation about how many wives we all have, how homophobic we all are, and what a backward lot Mormons are. Not much worth following.
With the Mormon church sponsorship of Prop 8 many Californians are holding a newfound grudge. And I can’t say that grudge is unfounded.
Paul: I meant to suggest that the DSLReports staff were offing the insights (though they had several factual errors in their summary). The comments are usually the same old worthless fights that have been going on for months or years.
Jesse – This is no criticism of FreeUTOPIA. While I may not always agree with your contributors, I’ve found that they tend to stay on topic, and I learn a lot from following your site. I can’t say the same for DSL Reports. I’m still trying to figure out what the grudges of a few Californians has to do with the condition of UTOPIA and iProvo.
